Animals Outtakes?

There's the whole version of 'Pigs on the Wing,' combining Part 1 and 2 into a single cut, with Snowy White's guitar solo in the middle.

You can find it on the 8-track of the album, as well as on Snowy's 'Goldtop' compilation (http://www.floydianslip.com/discs/goldtop.htm), now out of print.

Then there are many live boots of earlier versions of 'Dogs' and 'Sheep' under the titles 'You Gotta Be Crazy' and 'Raving and Drooling.'

Pigs On The Wing combined is excellent, I didn't know snowy white played guitar on that track till recently, I thought it had Gilmour written all over it...

Me too - when I found that out I was quite surprised. And had a new found respect for White's ability.

I don't know all his albums but I can recommend his 2 first solo albums - 'White Flames' (including famous Bird Of Paradise) and 'Snowy White'. Also 'No Faith Required' and 'Keep Out - We Are Toxic' are interesting. 'Goldtop' is a kind of collection. He played also for Thin Lizzy (albums 'Chinatown' and 'Renegade' and with Peter Green.

Ah, I almost forgot. 'Wet Dream' by a man called Richard Wright too

Of course I forgot. There is another interestinf point in his discography: 'Highway To The Sun'. I don't know this album but AFAIK there is David Gilmour present on it.

Hmmmm. My friend has most of Snowy's albums. I must visit his home
