So, all things being equal, it went pretty well. I managed to break my acoustic guitar (the pick up) at the last rehearsal, so I rented a much better guitar. I went all week w/o breaking a string, then broke a new one during the shoot. There were a few technical probleams, and some of the songs were played better in rehearsal than in the show, but it was fun.
We ended up with 4 cameras (plus my own VHS camera), and Cloud Party was augmetned by a keayboardist/slide/mandolin player (who has promised to play with us 'as much as possible' plus another guitarist.
There were quite e few mistakes, and I managed to say incredibly stupid things between each song, but that's live music. The energy was there, though. The audience seemed to really enjoy it. (We played mostly

Couldn't've been dumber than when I was at an open-mike night at a local dive: Her name was Monica (it was so bad that I still remember, and it's been a number of years). 'This song is called 'Sittin' on a Rock in the Middle of a River.' It's about sittin' on a rock in the middle of a river. I wrote it when I was sittin' on a rock in the middle of a river. It goes like this: *starts singing* 'Siiittiiiiin' on a roooooock in the miiiiiddle of a riiiiiiiiiiver.'' And she couldn't sing worth a shit.
