But Lives on....

lately i've been finding myself being very un-floydian-like. i used to listen to floyd 24- 7, i used to draw pictures of floyd, and write songs inspired by floyd, but now i don't even think about them. Floyd was the most insperational thing to affect my life, and now i don't even think about them. maybe in a year, you folks won't think about them either. anyways, i think we should make a national pink floyd day, for those of us who grew out of floyd, and those who still live for it. do you folks agree or disagree, and if you agree, lets try and make it happen.

I think you have just listened to their music so much that you are bored of it. I doubt anybody on AMPF actually sits down and listens to Pink Floyd anymore.

I do. I play it more often though, or play along with it. DG's fun to mimick.

Doc Chkkn wrut:

It's been some time since I counted my CDs, but I'd guess there are now about 700 of them. I used to have almost 3000 LPs and cassettes, but I had to leave them behind when I moved to Canada. The cost of shipping would have killed me.

I seem to hover around 2500 CDs year in and year out. My old albums and 45s are long gone, but I still have a hundred or so cassettes in boxes that I have yet to convert to minidisc or CD-R.

Oh, about 4000 mp3s on D Drive, too. .

Dammit, Raf! You could have sold off some of them to pay for shipping the rest of them.

I think i'm in the 1000 range for official CDs, about a hundred CDRs of same, and a pile of CDR boots I haven't really counted, but it's a boxfull. And a couple hundred cassettes, which get almost no play anymore. Precious few vinyl LP's and 45's.
