Um, Kyla, sweetie, the i is back in your email addy. And I havent gotten anything from you since you figured out why my emails to you were bouncing. The i thing. Hope your feeling better. I'm creaking around today feeling 90 years old. Had a truck load of gravel delivered yesterday, and spent the day spreading it out by shovel. The driveway hd turned into a mosh pit. This morning, everything hurts, and I have a great set of blisters. Oi!

I'm about ready for immobility as well - too much canoe paddling today after too damned long without. Saw an otter and an eagle though.

Got a pair of big owls trying to set up house keeping in the big oak out back. They have about a 4 foot wing span. If they stay, I wont have a mouse, mole or rabbit problem this spring. I also wont be able to let the cat outside. I'm trying to discourage them. Feel better today. Went to friends house, soaked in hot tub.

That's good to hear. Owls are spooky (what a cliché that is) the way they are so silent in flight and how their head moves. I should think your cat would be safe - now a red-tailed hawk might be a different story.

Apparently we're skipping Spring and going right through to summer here. It's just noon and already 85. I'm doing yard work in just shorts and sweating like a pig (cue Bedz)

Due for a second try at a satellite night launch tonight. It's the one at pad 37 that was in the background of the picture from the Apollo 1 service I sent in January. They tried last night but had a glitch. The first launch of any kind is always different after a tragedy - it's good to see any launch. Of course, after Challenger the next two satellites were destroyed so it's fingers crossed time.
