I read somewhere that Barrett also played on Remember A Day, but I have no proof.

Also, Nick Mason did not play on Two Suns In The Sunset off the Final Cut. It was another guy, I forget who.

Consider it proven. Schaffner and Karl Dallas both confirm it. It was actually outtakes of Syd noodling around on his Telecaster over which Rick overdubbed his lyrics and vocals. I really like this song, too. It has a dreamy quality without being overly childlike. Also, Jugband Blues is magnificent.

Didn't check up on that one. Nick's drums aren't nearly as distinctive as Daves guitar or Rick's keyboards (Ricks absence was loud and clear on that particular album).

Although I suspect that Jugband Blues was written and recorded before Syd's 'dismissal', the lyrics seem prophetic. 'Thanks for making it clear that I'm now here' on this album. Also, one can certainly read a 'entering an institution' or the like quality in the lyrics themselves.
