I was watching (for the unknown hundredth time) the movie, and noticed an incredible coincidence concerning the German War Eagle in 'Goodbye Blue Skies'.
There is a picture at this link: (http://www.naplesnews.com/01/09/naples/d688200a.htm) that shows the rubble of the World Trade Center after the September 11 attacks. Now, watch the movie. When the Eagle 'crashes' (as Gerald Scarfe sez), the beak becomes erect and the wings turn into scraps of steel.
THE IMAGE IS STRIKINGLY SIMILAR TO THE PICTURE FROM 9/11!
Kinda spooky...
