What gives anti war protesters the right to block railway lines, roads and motorways, risking the lives of others and stopping ordinary people going about their every day business? It's their right to protest but not break the law! Also were do they get off spouting that most people in this country are against the war? They might make more noise but that doesn't mean they are the majority, perhaps they should reflect on how it is they can protest such things and remember that people risk their lives on a daily basis to make sure their right to protest is preserved.

Nothing gives them that right. They are for the most part, America hating anarchists funded by socialists, pro-Saddam and pro-Castro groups.

Nothing. It's called 'civil disobedience' for a reason. Try getting out

Lack of brains. Idiots. The whole point of civil disobedience at this point would be to get as many people as possible arrested, to overwhelm the system.

But then, most protesters DON'T have the wisdom some of us do.

Street protest is legitimate, and if it is outlawed by the government many are prepared to break the law. That's the reality. If you wish to outlaw such protest, you should really consider what type of society you want to create.

True enough.

I have been on anti-war protests and I am happy to take all criticism like a man.

Right now I want this war over as quickly as possible.

I don't want another drawn out Vietnam, despite my drunken comments a while back.

I just want the thing over, and as few people killed as possible, be they Americans, British, Australians, or Iraqis of any kind.

And I am sick of the saturation media coverage, which I have a feeling is getting voyueristic and sensationalist.

I just _may_ have to wash my my fingers out with soap now, but I have to say I agree with every word, especially the last sentence. *grabs the bottle of dish detergent*

British TV comes with an 'Off' button too, from my understanding.

Hey, but I switch on for the benign trivia of Eastenders and I wind up with a BBC News Special!
