My friend has this Floyd VCD from 4/29/70, KQED . Anyone know anything about this ? - Is it rare ? Do you know the set list ? It is a little different than VCDs I've seen - instead of opening from the 'MPEGAVI ' file, it opens from another file, I think 'selection.' It plays on Quicktime, and it looks great. But I'm trying to figure out if I can copy it or not (so don't ask, yet) but I'm curious is anyone is familiar with this video and can tell me anything about it.

There is 2 general picture quality settings for VCD. Highest quality only allows about 37 minutes of video/audio on the disc. The lower setting would be about 74 minutes per CD. How many discs is the KQED show on? My quess is that someone made the CDV from a VHS tape. It can be done with a fast PC and a very good video card...

Typically, you can make backup copies if you have a CD backup software program. I have such and the program makes exact copies of the source disc. Check out www.allvcd.com That's where I got Pulse (2 VCD set).

They have Pulse for 12.50 + 7.50 s/h.

Take Care,
