Gah, with alll my film school buddies i shouldn't have even had to have asked.
I agree with you about the implications of a memory, you start out feeling really bad for the guy, then you end up wondering if you really do feel sorry for him. If there is some all-knowing power, is what he did wrong? I don't know i could make that call based on the evidence we were given, but they would certainly know.
I'm just glad that hasn't happened to me (knocks on wood)
